Twinfold ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Helpy Media Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Twinfold platform at twinfold.app (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture through our authentication provider (Clerk). We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.

1.2 AI Twin Training Data

When you train your AI twin, we store interview responses and knowledge uploads you provide. This data is used solely to personalize your AI twin and generate content in your voice. We do not use your training data to train general-purpose AI models.

1.3 Content Data

We store the posts, articles, hooks, and other content you create through the Service, including drafts and published content. Published content may be sent to third-party platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.) at your direction.

1.4 Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and credit consumption. This data helps us improve the product.

1.5 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details. We receive only transaction confirmations and subscription status from Stripe.

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To personalize your AI twin and generate content in your voice
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To publish content to third-party platforms at your request
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts)

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Railway (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), OpenRouter/Anthropic (AI processing)
  • Social platforms: When you publish content, it is sent to the platforms you select (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, etc.)
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process

4. AI Data Processing

Your AI twin training data and content generation requests are processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenRouter). These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not permit AI providers to use your data for model training.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive data at rest (OAuth tokens, API keys)
  • TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse
  • Regular security audits

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we soft-delete your workspace and associated data. Soft-deleted data is permanently purged within 90 days. You can request immediate deletion by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your content data
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (via Clerk) and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service.
